Gray overcast skies, weather that peaks in the low 70s and dips into the 40s during the long nights. Days are fairly short, as the sun is not really visible unless it is overhead. The ground is shadowed by the large clouds. Slightly warmer coastal winds come from the east during the day. During the long nights, it snows occasionally. The stench of rot and destruction permeate the air.

This allows anyone who stumbles across the site to register and play a character. This enables them to get a feel for the VF realm before we open. It also allows storytellers and staff to iron out the kinks in the storyteller system. In the future, we plan on having large scale events, such as gang attacks on straggler encampments, that would require the cooperation and participation of a number of parties.
The role of a beta tester is not all cookies and creme, however. As a beta tester, you must offer feedback. You can't simply say, "I like it," or "that's nice." You also must possess above average writing, roleplaying, and storytelling abilities, and be active enough to participate in the events that you are called upon. Should you volunteer to be a beta tester, you should participate in the proper threads as soon as reasonably possible. This is very much a position of importance.
As a note to current staff members, please feel free to invite anyone that you know to the site to help out. We will not officially open and advertise until we have any issues ironed out. Any questions or comments about this process can go in this thread. | | 1 Reply | 218 Views |
