Downtown This is where downtown and midtown Manhattan once stood. It used to be a mecca for the world's finance and business sector. But now, the once proud buildings lie in ruin, either collapsed or collapsing, the untended streets and sidewalks overgrown with weeds. Debris litters the earth, dust and fog fill the air, and parts of the former city are flooded. It is not a pretty sight, but at least it provides some cover...
