Freaky what your mind does with colors on the screen. | | | 12-05-2008, 03:01 AM | #2 (permalink) | | ...but our destiny is shared Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 388 | Yeah, that's crazy. I've seen those kinds of ones before, but never really that effective. Those are really intense. I like those ones that go 3-D if you focus right, too. | | | 12-05-2008, 07:51 PM | #3 (permalink) | | our stories are singular... I actually checked the image properties to make sure it wasn't animated. | | | 12-06-2008, 03:09 AM | #4 (permalink) | | ...but our destiny is shared Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 388 | Wow, nice job. It would be interesting though to like really subtly animate something so that people won't notice it's moving at first, or maybe even at all. Almost like a reverse effect. | | | 12-06-2008, 03:52 AM | #5 (permalink) | | the golden god of spam <33 Retired Staff Join Date: Nov 06, 2008 Posts: 65 | I'm actually having a hard time seeing them move. I have to focus outside of the image to get anything. Phooey. | | | 12-06-2008, 08:25 PM | #6 (permalink) | | our stories are singular... (It also seems to move more than your second which as Maika says seems to move only when you are using peripheral vision.) I printed it out and everything to show someone else and it still worked. Very scary shiz! | | | 12-08-2008, 02:24 AM | #8 (permalink) | | ...but our destiny is shared Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 388 | Yeah, they don't appear to move when I'm staring directly at the them, either. Actually, they don't move when I'm staring directly at anything. They look like they're wiggling when I move my eyes. | | | 12-11-2008, 10:27 AM | #9 (permalink) | | our stories are singular... Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 691 | I can stare directly at them and they still move about a lot, the top one especially. They only lie perfectly still if I really focus. | | | 12-12-2008, 08:26 AM | #10 (permalink) | | ...but our destiny is shared Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 388 | You're just odd then. I saw a book of this sort of thing at the library the other day and there was an excellent one with wavy lines or something, I think. I can't exactly remember, and I can't find it after a whole ten seconds of searching. Bah. | | | 12-13-2008, 12:36 AM | #11 (permalink) | | human scrabble board <33 Join Date: Nov 04, 2008 Posts: 106 | Ten seconds failed? Nooooo! But yeah, why should we be the weird ones? Its that Ren kid! The first one is just a bit awesomer. I think its because the pattern is in different angles whereas in the second they are all verticle and all have the same outer shading in their groups. | | | 01-20-2009, 08:53 AM | #12 (permalink) | | Administrator Join Date: Dec 11, 2008 Posts: 69 | Ooo those are funky, they stop moving if you focus though as Ren said. | | | 02-09-2009, 05:44 AM | #13 (permalink) | | our stories are singular... The fact that they move at all is pretty impressive. | | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | All times are GMT -5.
