Characters that wind up in this forum are usually characters that were NPCs/on the canon list and admins decided to get rid of them. Sometimes, they are played characters where the player left for an extended period of time, and instead of trying to write ourselves into a corner, we simply decide to get rid of them for consistency purposes. Sometimes, characters in this forum were simply in the wrong place or wrong time. If you royally screw up a storyteller-led thread, please don't be surprised if your character winds up here; remember our rule about actions and consequences?

Basically, characters in this thread will include the app and/or blurb (if they don't have an app), as well as any links and descriptions to their death. If they died in an in-character thread, that thread will be linked from their thread in this forum.

Please note that characters that end up here have been permanently killed off. That means there is no way to bring them back. We do not believe in retconning storylines for the sake of bringing magically characters back to life. Dead characters remain dead to protect the gravity and permanence of death; it is not trivial.

The one surefire method of staying alive would be to stay active and be semi-smart (OOCly) in storyteller-led threads. The storyteller will usually give you many opportunities and many clues/cues to protect your character. However, should you choose to charge recklessly into the teeth of a few Vectorville task forces, do not be surprised if your character ends up dead and in the morgue.
