Felix Dahl*

Age 25

Felix is an unusual one. At 25, he still has a few vivid memories of childhood before the pandemic, when life was normal and easier. On one hand, he clings to the hope that life could go back to those days, but on the other, he is realistic enough to understand that the world is likely irreversibly changed. He possesses a veterans' cynicism, which results in a general distrust of the outside world. Though he is usually kinder to his close companions, he is generally difficult, and acts rudely and critically towards most everything indiscriminately, criticizing things with an aristocratic arrogance.

He has a decent humor and a quick wit, and as the oldest member of the group, even though he loathes leadership and is not a natural leader, others may defer to his understanding. Through his experience with the group, Felix developed a great affinity with Zephyriah. Their powers synergize well, and he has a sense of protectiveness and attachment towards the girl that he frequently touches as a result of their combined powers. Unsurprisingly, he is a little perturbed by the aura absorption she acquired, which prevents her from touching people with her hands.

Lily, the Dog***

Age 3 (25 in human years)

Lily is the group's watchdog. She is a three year old golden retriever and is most loyal to Ella.

Adrian Irvine*

Age 24

Adrian is clearly the vocal leader of the group. He likes taking charge and making his opinion heard. Though he can sometimes come across as obnoxious, he means well, and genuinely cares for the people that share his space. He holds people around him to a high standard, and demands excellence out of them, which can make his teammates resent him. However, he holds himself to those same standards, so they simply understand that he expects the best out of them, and is constantly challenging them to improve and look forward to brighter days.

Though he is fairly enthusiastic on the outside, Adrian uses his alpha personality to offset his depression. He can only feign an outwardly cheerful demeanor, but he fails to find much enjoyment in his life, even less enjoyment than the typical bleakness of their existence. Above all else, he is a good man, with good intentions and upstanding virtues, but the prolonged straggling has taken a toll on him. He values the team members as individuals, but sometimes drills them like soldiers, but mostly because he wishes them best.

Victoria Guerra*

Age 23

Victoria is valuable support for the group, showing complete loyalty and trust in the people that share her living space. Whenever possible, Victoria aims to help the other members of the group in whatever means she can, often even to the point of neglecting herself. She is usually such a selfless character, with such deep compassion towards the people she now perceives as her family, that people are willing to overlook her perpetual pessimism, penchant for being difficult, and uneven temper.

Her extreme dislike for the situation pushes her into bouts of moodiness, but her desire to see the group happy and cohesive pushes her to use her strong interpersonal skills to reinforce the team's dynamics. More than anything, she wants to see the group succeed, and she values order while surrounded by a chaotic world. Because of her compassionate personality, Victoria has formed deep relationships with most of the team members. She is Ella's foremost playmate, Zephyriah's best friend and confidante, and very close friends to both Felix and Adrian.

Eleanor "Ella" Parino*

Age 16

Ella is, by far, the youngest of the group. She is also the only one that has no recollection of life before the pandemic. Since she does not know a different life than the one she lives, she still has a naive optimism, and does not understand why some of her teammates think of their old life with such nostalgia. Because of her youth, she often depends upon the group for her survival, and perhaps has the most to benefit from being a member of the team. The rest of the team frequently babies her, and offers her the best they can. As a result, she is a little spoiled.

For the most part, Ella tries to defer to the group, but as a teenager, she yearns to get involved. Sometimes, she doesn't think about the consequences of her actions, and often does not think of others when she makes them. Still, despite the occasional selfishness, she is remorseful and apologetic when she causes other's distress. Though she accepts her role as the baby of the group, and loves the other members as older siblings, she still desires to prove herself worthy of their company.

Zephyriah Beccaria*

Age 24

If Adrian is the vocal leader of the group, Zephyriah is the de facto leader, the matron. She just has a history of levelheadedness, rational decision-making, and has a calming presence about her that makes others defer to her judgment. Usually, she is passive and a little too sympathetic for her own good, so she defers power towards others. Nonetheless, when a decision needs to be made, most of other members of the team will look towards her. If others produce an idea, they often seek Zephyriah's approval first. She does not particularly like the leadership role as, though she makes a good and natural leader, she does not want to be one.

As the second oldest of the group, Zephyriah takes on the older sister or mom role. However, she is usually a terrible matron, as she is simply not stern enough to reprimand people. On many occasions, Zephyriah fails to speak her mind, and can be a bit of a doormat. Though she tries to be cold and steely like the situation demands, she is naturally pretty empathetic. Even hunting for game that sustains their life is taxing on her emotionally. She keeps her emotions bottled up, and ever since the death of her brother, has become much more of a fatalist. Despite her best efforts to stay as rational and unbiased as possible, Zephyriah is a naturally sentimental person.
